Explanation: At first glance these undulating shapes in shades of blue might look like waves on an ocean. Seen here in a false-color image from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter’s HiRISE camera, they are actually layered rock outcrops found in Aureum Chaos. The larger Aureum Chaos region is a chaotic jumble of eroded terrain in the eastern part of Mars’ immense canyon Valles Marineris. Distinct layers composing these outcrops could have been laid down by dust or volcanic ash settling from the atmosphere, sand carried by martian winds, or sediments deposited on the floor of an ancient lake. This close-up view of the otherwise red planet spans about 4 kilometers, a distance you might walk over flat ground in less than an hour.

Well, it looks as though we have a challenge on our hands. Well known media guru Dude Starship claimed the title : Teleporter 1 in the open Home>Telescope>Home Blue Mars Challenge. This morning. Dude says he cannot be beaten. When interviewed off camera he had this to say:

- “Well, Rupert, there is no real prize but the virtual prize of Teleporter 1 is grand. I didn’t do it for the money, I did it for the glory and Nobody Can beat Me.

- “You know Rupert, bin trainin for weeks for this event but, like you know Rupert, on the day, the heat, the crowds well no one can prepare you for that….”

Flat Fact: The term dude is an infected hair on an elephants butt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! American English slang word generally used informally to address a male individual. It also means that youre cool. The word was once used primarily by young adults but has become a common slang term used in various age groups. The female equivalent is “dudette”. “Dude” is also used alone in a sentence as an interjection denoting a feeling of surprise, happiness, disappointment, amazement or other emotions. The word might also be used practically anywhere in a sentence in order to convey such sentiments in conversation, as in Listen dude, we have to go.
The tone and inflection of the word “dude” are used to convey the various meanings. For example, a short, clipped “dude!” may convey annoyance with someone, while a long, drawn-out “duuuude” conveys amazement.
Other, older definitions of dude exist; a particularly well-dressed male or one who is unfamiliar with life outside a large city. These definitions may go hand-in-hand, hence the phrased definition “An Easterner in the West” (United States).

Second Life. We get a lot of people from sl in Blue Mars. They are curious. They are also adventurous, consummate 3D Virtual World Dwellers and the more experienced incorporate sl and rl very well. Last time I was on so were 62,423 other people. Here’s an example: I wanted a bike so I searched on sl. I found a shop, very glitzy, with supabikes. Hmmm. Searched for Harleys found a shop and visited . Two americans were chatting with microphones. They were chatting about bikes. They welcomed me and asked if I had my mic on, I said no so they asked me if I could hear them. I typed Yes, they spoke “Great Dude we hate typing, what can we do for you?” We chatted, said I was making a vid etc etc, they showed me a bike and let me try it. Fun. ( I used to have a rl bike at uni 250cc LTD Kawasaki, red, very cool, ultra manoeverable, chopped. Rode it around campus and got told off for parking it outside the lecture room…lol) So. I bought it. Cost me $4. Chatted some more and got hired to make videos for them. Made two new friends, Bika Dudes. Charlie has the same bike as me, only its real. Some sl people are a bit wary of BM. I love sl. I am not going to give it up. It’s almost real….Blue Mars, well its the Pro version. Heres the vid. Note the script that comes with it. Please also recognise that I did all this in 20 mins, I didn’t stop to edit so my riding position looks a bit fake. Sorry, I’ll spend a couple of hours editing…just like my rl bike and as any biker knows your machine becomes an extension of you, like something you wear. Omg I do rabbit on…

As of today we will be incorporating Cockney Rhyming Slang into our chat. To start you off me old china, Blue Mars can be referred to as Supa Stars.
Cockney rhyming slang (sometimes abbreviated as CRS) is a form of English slang which originated in the East End of London. Many of its expressions have passed into common language, and the creation of new ones is no longer restricted to Cockneys

- ” Not another road (frog and toad) to cross? Me feet (plates of meat) are killing me. Wish I could teleport (be-a-sport) like in Blue Mars (supa stars).

People using Bank Machine’s ATMs can opt to have their prompts and options given to them in rhyming slang.

The rhyming slang prompts will be available from five cash machines in east London for three months.
Other rhyming slang prompts people can expect include a speckled hen (£10), while the machine may inform users that it is contacting their rattle and tank, rather than bank.
Ron Delnevo, managing director of Bank Machine, said: “We wanted to introduce something fun and of local interest to our London machines.
